SCHOLARSHIPS
EDUCATION. The Primary purpose of LLSI is legal education for members and the public, and legal educational functions are held in various locations across the state. LLSI also sponsors seminars and workshops, awards a $1,000 scholarship annually, makes charitable contributions and hosts entertaining events.
LOUISIANA CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
LLSI has established a Louisiana Certification Program to certify legal secretaries who have taken and passed special exams pertaining to Louisiana law. This certification has most assuredly become an important element of the experienced Louisiana legal secretary's resume.
NETWORKING
MEETINGS
LLSI holds two membership meetings each year B in the spring and in the fall
B which affords legal secretaries and others interested in the legal field an
opportunity to meet and learn, with outstanding comradeship.
